A vibrant new face for Upper Hutt’s parks and reserves

The team at Tailwind had the pleasure of working with Upper Hutt City Council to create this vibrant new signage system for the city’s vast array of parks and reserves. The first deployment of these signs have just been installed at Trentham Memorial Park — check them out!

After formalising UHCC’s new brand guidelines we got to work on a signage system that made best use of the new brand to represent parks and reserves in a clear and engaging way that reflects how proud Upper Hutt is of these fantastic assets.

This system is flexible to accommodate park names of multiple lengths, incorporates a new range of icons to highlight park amenities and rules, and modular presentation for parks that feature multiple facilities.

We are thrilled with how these turned out and look forward to seeing them roll out across the city over time.
